Welcome to the Sussex Beer Festival. The 26th Festival will provisionally. At the Brighton Corn Exchange. Moving to a new venue after 24 years was always going to present unexpected difficulties but, thanks to all the volunteers, the 25th festival worked well. Connecting the Belchambers of Sussex from Henry VIII to George III. Was born about 1570 and married Jonne Adames on 29 June 1600 at Lancing, Sussex. Nicholas and Jonne are likely to have started the Chichester line of the Belchambers, parenting Cristopher Belchamber b. abt 1601, William Belchamber b. abt 1602 and Nicholas Belchamber b. abt 1606 - all of whom married in Chichester. 01 Dec 1559 Petworth, Sussex. 05 Feb 1604 Warminghurst, Sussex.

This site was originally started to record my family history . I have been researching my family hisotry for 4 years now. with over 7,000 on my tree and many exciting discoveries made. I am currently writing a book about my 4th Great Grandfather Thomas Noakes. I have access to West Sussex and East Sussex records office and have many resources at home .

As a postscript, I continued to visit this private estate for several years and spent many happy days and nights out there alone and whilst I regularly saw loads of deer I never again saw a shred of evidence that big cats were, or had ever been, at large there.
